As a parent of Kids Gym, there are procedures and guidelines that are important for you to know. For your convenience we have listed them here. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us!

Procedures and Guidelines


  • Must have a current credit card on file

  • It is your responsibility to pay to re-enroll your child in the next term.  We do not have autopay.  Any student with unpaid balances the week before the term begins will be dropped.

You may enroll, change day, time or class, at any time, depending on class availability. If you would like to cancel your child's class, please notify Kids Gym Office.

Cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) payments may be made at the front office or you can pay through Studio Director

Absence Information

 Should your child become sick, no tuition credits or refunds for missed classes/events and birthday parties will be given. This absence can be used as your one make-up per term.

  • Preschool and or recreational students will receive one makeup per term for missed class in an Open Gym (or TK Open Play for ages 1-5 yrs.) These can be used within the term dates of the missed class.  Please notify our office prior to your student's absence and we will enroll them in a makeup open gym.

Late Fee

Returned Check Policy

A $25 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.


A $43 per family membership fee is due from all families that participate at Kids Gym *. The membership fee allows for discounts on camps, special events, and participation in Open Gym at our member rate. This annual fee is due upon your initial registration and due each 12 months thereafter. Membership fees are non-refundable. *(Membership fees are required for students enrolling in classes but not for those who just choose to do Open Gym or auxiliary programs)

Family Discount

Kids Gym is a family owned and operated business for over 34 years and we love families! If you have more than one child actively enrolled, a 10% deduction will be applied for each additional child’s tuition, taken off the lowest tuition rate(s). 

Starting / Ending Classes and Weather Information

Makeup Classes

Missed a class? We offer ONE makeup per term in an Open Gym!  We must be notified of the absence prior to the missed class.

  • Contingent on availability & are Not Guaranteed

  • Must be actively enrolled to schedule

  • Must be used within the term they missed the class

  • No credit or refund for missed classes

Open Enrollment

A student may join a class at any time throughout the year, provided there is space, and the age and ability level is appropriate. If your child changes classes during the year, any tuition previously paid will be transferred. We do not charge an extra fee to change classes!


If your child must drop, please do not rely on your student to tell us that he/she will no longer be attending classes or assume we will automatically drop your child for not attending class.

Holiday Closings

Labor Day, Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday morning after Thanksgiving, holiday break in December, Memorial Day, and Independence Day (July 4th).

Weather-Related or Emergency Closings

We rarely cancel classes due to weather conditions. If we do cancel class, it will be announced on our Facebook page, on our website and via Studio Director email. Please remember that we are not affiliated with local schools and do not always follow school closings. You may also call our office for information. There are no refunds or credits for weather related closures. (Effective January 2023)
