
Information for Parents/Guardians
Open Enrollment
A student may join a class at any time throughout the year, provided there is space and the age and ability level is appropriate. You may also change the day, time, or class at any time, depending on availability. If your child changes classes during the year, any tuition previously paid will be transferred. We do not charge an extra fee to change classes!


Registration & Membership Fees
A $45 per family membership fee is due from all families that participate at Kids Gym *. The membership fee allows for discounts on camps, special events, and participation in Open Gym at our member rate. This annual fee is due upon your initial registration and is due each 12 months thereafter. Membership fees are non-refundable.
*(Membership fees are required for students enrolling in classes but not for those who just choose to do Open Gym or some of our auxiliary programs)

Family Discount
Kids Gym is a family-owned and operated business for over 34 years, and we love families! If you have more than one child actively enrolled, a 10% deduction will be applied for each additional child’s tuition, taken off the lowest tuition rate(s).

Tuition & Payments

Cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) payments may be made at the front office, or through our online registration program. Questions about tuition can be directed to our front office at 269-323-7657.

We now have ROLLING tuition - families will be AUTOMATICALLY charged two weeks prior to the next term (this does NOT apply to our Summer Terms).

A $30 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.

Dropping a Class
You will receive emails pertaining to drop instructions and auto tuition charge dates. Do not rely on your child to tell us that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If we do not receive a drop notification, you will be charged tuition for the next term.



Makeup Classes
Missed a class? We offer TWO makeups per 8-week Term and ONE makeup during each of our Summer Terms. We must be notified of all absences at least 1 hr prior to the beginning of class in order for an absence to be considered excused.

Absences
We do not offer tuition credits or refunds for missed classes, events, or birthday parties due to illness.
Holiday Closings
We are closed on Labor Day, the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday morning after Thanksgiving, the holiday break in December, Memorial Day, and Independence Day (July 4th).

Weather-Related Cancellations
We rarely cancel classes due to weather conditions. If we do cancel class, it will be announced on our Facebook page, on our website, and via the IClassPro email. Please remember that we are not affiliated with local schools and do not always follow school closings. You may also call our office for information on emergency closings. We do not offer refunds or credits for weather-related closures. (Effective January 2023)
