Parent Information

As a part of the Kids Gym community, there are procedures and guidelines that are important for you to know. For your convenience, we've listed the most important ones here.

Open Enrollment

A student may join a class at any time throughout the year, provided there is space and the age and ability level is appropriate. You may also change the day, time, or class at any time, depending on availability. If your child changes classes during the year, any tuition previously paid will be transferred. We do not charge an extra fee to change classes!

Registration & Membership Fees

A $43 per family membership fee is due from all families that participate at Kids Gym *. The membership fee allows for discounts on camps, special events, and participation in Open Gym at our member rate. This annual fee is due upon your initial registration and is due each 12 months thereafter. Membership fees are non-refundable.


*(Membership fees are required for students enrolling in classes but not for those who just choose to do Open Gym or auxiliary programs)


Family Discount

Kids Gym is a family-owned and operated business for over 34 years, and we love families! If you have more than one child actively enrolled, a 10% deduction will be applied for each additional child’s tuition, taken off the lowest tuition rate(s).

Tuition & Payments

Cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) payments may be made at the front office, or you can pay through Studio Director. Questions about tuition can be directed to our front office at 269-323-7657.

  • Must have a current credit card on file

  • It is your responsibility to pay to re-enroll your child in the next term. We do not have auto-pay.

  • Any student with an unpaid balance the week before the term begins will be dropped.

  • A $30 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.


Dropping a Class

If your child must drop a class, please contact the office to let us know! Do not rely on your student to tell us that he/she will no longer be attending classes or assume we will automatically drop your child for not attending class.

Makeup Classes

Missed a class? We offer ONE makeup per term in an Open Gym!  We must be notified of the absence prior to the missed class.

  • Contingent on availability & Not Guaranteed

  • Must be actively enrolled to schedule

  • Must be used within the term they missed the class

  • No credit or refund for missed classes



We do not offer tuition credits or refunds for missed classes, events, or birthday parties due to illness. However, students enrolled in a class can make up one class per term in an Open Gym. Please notify our office prior to your student's absence, and we will enroll them in a make-up Open Gym.

Holiday Closings

We are closed on Labor Day, the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday morning after Thanksgiving, the holiday break in December, Memorial Day, and Independence Day (July 4th).


Weather-Related Cancellations

We rarely cancel classes due to weather conditions. If we do cancel class, it will be announced on our Facebook page, on our website, and via Studio Director email. Please remember that we are not affiliated with local schools and do not always follow school closings. You may also call our office for information on emergency closings. We do not offer refunds or credits for weather-related closures. (Effective January 2023)
